Dang, I was looking forward to renting that bad boy from you.
He could of broken any other Canon lens but that one!
I think you should make him wear the 500L leather dunce cap for a week!

I feel for you. I submirged my 3 week new 5DIII last saturday... it hurts. Luckily, i did a good job drying it - canon was able to salvage it for me! CPS Gold baby! Didnt even need to claim it on the insurance!

That is NOT a dunce cap. It blocks out the subliminal messages Nikon broadcasts and makes the voices stop.

Yes! I am pretty sure you will not detect any more any left AF sensor issues, when you put your D800 into the cap ...
