Just wanted to share a few of my favorite images from yesterday. These images are all from my new Canon 1DX & Canon 300 f2.8L IS II. I normally wouldn't bring this huge lens to a wedding but these were friends. Uncle Bob couldn't believe what was happening! I was quite pleased with the results and extremely happy with my new camera- Thanks DK Photography These are straight out of camera & unedited, only converted RAW to JPEG. All these images were taken with the bridal party only before guests arrived at the venue. I'm going to blog the entire set soon
WOW, those are great photos Greg! I'm glad you got the camera in time to take those photos. Your photography skills brings that camera's performance to justice!
I'm happy to know that the camera ended up in good hands!
Wow, I'm impressed how you can communicate with everyone while you are so far away. How did they hear your instructions? How did you get their attentions?
I have problem even shooting my 135mm f/2 when I'm doing group photos!
I met this couple while shooting their cousins wedding last year. They're really a lot of fun and we worked well together. I did all the family formals with my 24L II, big asian family. I really wanted to try out this new camera body & lens combo and due to morning rain, we had the golf course to ourselves and I had room to use the tele. We all ran out onto the course after doing the "formal formals". If they weren't friends and weren't super fun, this would have been impossible. Basically, I would pose them and give an idea of the look I wanted and they would just have fun with it. I had to run like 50 yards before shooting #10 . Thanks for all the kind words David

Wow! You certainly did the impossible in my opinion.... and you were well rewarded!
He's probably locked the smugmug gallery where the photos were linked to. But good news is that most of the same photos are on his blog now. Check out his blog at: http://gregbrett.com/khoi-jessica-married/
Thanks David! Sorry guys, I rearranged the my Smugmug galleries and didn't realize it would delete the photos in my thread. Feel free to check out the blog
