By the way, BH is getting much worse nowadays.
That hasn't really been my experience at all. In fact I recently had a return to B&H that the Postal service made every effort to screw up and the guys at B&H made that process a heckuva lot smoother than with many other companies I've dealt with.

I avoid Beach camera like the plague. I got hosed by them good in the past and I've never forgot it. You can clean it up any way you like but over 100 negative feedbacks in a few months is not a stellar rating.
Far from it and certainly not my idea of "awesome".
The seller on eBay is not selling as Beach Trading company so there is no indication what so ever those transactions fall under the protection of a Canon authorized dealer account. In fact it's highly unlikely they do since Beach Photo is charging $3500 for the MKIII and clearly they are using a different DBA for a reason.

By that reasoning Adorama is garbage as well since they have the same percentage of marginal+negative feedback, and that's obviously not the case, at least not in my experience in dealing with Adorama. Regarding the holding/parent company, there are other Canon's authorized resellers whose DBA is not listed on the authorized reseller list, including Profeel Marketing, Inc. (DBA PMI digital), a very well respected dealer that also sells on eBay (I've had great experiences with them as well). Sorry you got burned by Beach in the past but accusing them of not being an authorized dealer or implying that their Canon products aren't warrantied wont fix those wrongs. And it's bordering on libel.

IIR Canon is explicit in regards to noting that DBA's have to be listed as authorized dealers.
Profeel is a listed authorized dealer and prime example of a Canon factory authorized DBA. They do sell on eBay and I have bought from them. Make no mistake about it when you buy from them your invoice says "Profeel" not PMI or any thing else other than the exact same name registered with Canon. When I bought from BeachPhoto in the past their invoices were certainly not marked "BeachTrading Company" which is an authorized dealer.
For a little bit of pocket change I'll stick with dealers I know are authorized and not tread in the Grey area.

That seller is not on the Canon authorized dealer list and they have 39 ...THIRTY NINE! Negative and neutral feedbacks in the last 30 days alone. Over 100 negative feedbacks in six months...YIKES
That's a terrible feedback record. There's no way I would risk getting involved with some thing like that to save a few bucks.

Beach camera is fine. They even have a storefront. Although one of the salesman in the store can be a little testy. But they are not some shady or scam outfit. 100% authorized dealer.
Many of the negs are like "these headphones sound like junk so i'm giving beach negative feedback!!!!!!!" or "the camera's shutter broke after a week so i'm giving beach negative feedback!!!!". So those are pretty ridiculous and hardly count.
That said I do see a few more concerning negative feedbacks on there, perhaps now that they have expanded so much they are growing a touch sketchier as they expand faster than they can handle, maybe?

I am 100% sure beach camera is legit an I've been purchasing from beachcamara and adorama for many years

A lot of people buy grey market with out a problem. It's never a problem buying. Warranty service my be another issue. Here's the JULY 2012 PDF of Canon authorized dealers for the US.

You're still trying to convince people that Beach Camera is not an authorized Canon dealer? They must have really burned you bad for you to persist on this misinformation campaign.

FYI, PMI has the 5DM3 for $3200 on their ebay store. They had it down to $3100 a few days ago but raised it back up to $3269 after everyone reset their prices back to MSRP. Now it's back down to $3200.

Thanks for the link. That is a great price and I've had excellent results with PMI/Profeel.
If you follow your link and look just over their user name you can see that they are registered with eBay as a factory authorized dealer and their ad goes into detail about that.
You will not see that same authorized dealer registry for Beach Camera on the other ad you linked up-thread nor do they talk about being a factory authorized dealer in their ad.
I did however receive an email from Canon stating that Beach Camera is factory authorized so I will stand corrected. I'm perplexed as to why Beach Camera is not on the current Canon authorized PDF list.

They're listed under Beach Trading Company, same as how PMI is listed as Profeel.

Bought mine from them. Once you purchase you have to "confirm" order online, which is trying to sell extended service plans and extra batteries. I clicked no, no, no, no and I was good to go! I'm guessing it's that add-ons that are profitable, not so much the camera.

Available at £2095 in the UK from an eBay importer (taxes etc paid)...not sure how that compares with USA prices but it's £900 cheaper than mainstream UK dealers are asking.
