It's been a while since I've posted. Just got back from Cocos Island. What a blast the diving is there!!
All taken with the 40D and a mix of the Canon 17-40 f/4 L and the Tokina 10-17 fisheye. Underwater gear was an Ikelite housing with 8 inch dome, a DS-125 substrobe, and a DS-160 substrobe.
This is an incredible collection of reef / underwater photography. More than just a set of images from a vacation, many of these are truly artful. I am particularly fond of the 5th picture with the hammerhead framed by a school of orange fish in the foreground and another school in the background. Additionally, the first black and white shot from below the shark and backed by the sky is quite striking.

Fantastic group of UW photos! Fine composition, content and exposure where conditions are so much tougher than in air! And the variety you were able to see and capture makes us all know you had a great dive. MF
