p.1 #1 · Birds in El Salvador

I just got back from a trip to El Salvador. I only got two chances to get out and photograph and both times the light was harsh, but nonetheless here are some photos. The first two were at a fruit farm. I definitively saw good potential to set up a hide and a set up for photographing many species of birds... The last two were at a rookery... there were lots of chicks around...

Great shots! 1 and 3 are my picks. Your first bird is a Red-bellied Woodpecker, and the second bird is a type of Ani, probably a Groove-billed Ani.
