I will say that they are different than anything else I have seen from Antelope Canyon. However I also feel they are soft. I wouldn't say they are awesome. Just my 2 cents!
these have the potential to be awesome. but as it is right now they are not. the first is out of focus and you should really try a vertical composition and try to get more from that crack into the sky. the second i have no critique of it because i just dont like it. it just looks muddy and nasty.

As an artist, I'm going to stick with awesome.

no one criticized the camera you used... just the man using it (ie you). these honestly look like images i took when i was first starting out in photography 9 years ago. listen to the people on this forum and dont just keep saying that your shit dont stink. these guys know what they are talking about
I agree with a lot of the things posted, BUT, C'Mon Man! Technically the jpg's posted are awful. Soft, blown out color, bad exposures etc.
BUT, the concept is nice you just have to work a bit on getting better composition (it's close though) and the right exposures of the rock and the sky. Look here for some samples: http://www.flickr.com/photos/digitallion/ (the artist is Tom Lowe, one of the very best ive seen at doing nightscapes). He mainly does motion so some of the stills are are not perfect because they are frame grabs. But man, the images he produces are amazing.
With some basic gear and a little creativity all you need is time and access which you obviously have! I would get out there!
