I recently bought the 500 so thought i'd give it a little test drive and shoot some hummers. i'm a 99% landscape shooter so birds/animals is sorta new to me (i did get my start on FM at Nature forum..many many years ago)

Any suggestions/critique..please feel free

All with 500 F4 + 1.4x III
Camera: 5dIII or 1d III

The black background is a brown stone wall in the shade about 20-25 feet away from the hummers.
