Greeting FM friends, regretably, my plans to post more frequently has been a dismal failure. Anyway, I'll try and catch up - starting with a few birds from the Serengeti - taken with a 1D4 w/800mm & 5D3 w/ 500mm. Thanks for looking and comments are most welcome.

yeah, jim, keep the shots coming. these are fantastic. the roller shot is a real treat. my gf looking over my shoulder really liked him too!

Great shots Jim. I think the roller is my favorite (I would love to see that bird), but I also really like the lighting on the hoopoe.

Great set Jim with a lovely pose and look from the Hoopoe and beautiful colors on the LBR.
It will be some switch to the 180 after the 800 and 500!
