I will add that I also met my best friend here on FM (Mark Sisco - another current member), back in 2003. It started with a simple image post of the Golden Gate Bridge where he was looking for critique. It led to a meet up in the Atlanta area for a weekend of landscape shooting in Cloudland Canyon, TN. It grew into a life-long friendship. Funny how the internet and forums like this can influence lives.
Count me in! That fall I followed Fred's reports about the 1Ds so closely I almost stepped on his shoes. Finally bought one that year and it changed my life. Twas a small tight family back then that really helped each other out. I was at what I believe to be the first FM member meet up at the San Diego WAP with Sunny, Ben Horne and others that winter. It's fun going back to the archives that Fred provides here.
