Unfortunately this was the only good Hyena shot, but i did get more of the other animals there.

Hi Volks,
Your photo is of a brown Hyena - they are non aggressive and live mostly on termites and carrion. Their cousin the spotted Hyena has the very powerful build and jaws and hunt in their own right. They will not attack an adult but have been known to take children. In the bush they have a reputation for hit and run attacks on campers and will take meat off an open grill and limbs that tends to stick out of a tent. They also rip off mud flaps on cars that have been "marked" by domestic dogs. This specimen has lost some of its upper lip in a fight probably with a Lion. Taken in the Kruger Park last December.
