Always a treat and a pleasure to shoot with my FM brothers Tim Kuhn and Tom Sanders.
Here are a few from my first couple outings of the Hummingbird season. Sorry for not participating much on the board lately, but I've got a ton of stuff going on. Salmon fishing season is about to bust loose and my honey-do list seems to keep getting longer. Hopefully I'll manage some time for shooting. Hope you enjoy these.
I was waiting for these Jay You presented us with the type of shot I was hoping you would. You have always had artful/thoughtful comps just like these. They are all so pleasant to look at, real eye candy. I have no idea what the bg is in the Towhee shot but it sure sets the subject off nicely. Kudos on the exposure on 1, that is a tricky on for sure I love the incoming strafer hitting the brakes (2). Great work Jay, you may not get out and do birds often anymore but you sure haven't lost your touch
Yeah buddy these look sweet bro
Nice opener against the pastel blue!
Amazing DOF work on the second shot Jay, sharp flower fades to a sharp Hummer
?? how'd you do that ??
Fine timing on the Towhee and you nailed this one in mid call.....
Love the Lavender shot buddy with such a great perspective!
Best in set for last among this fine series Jay, beautiful Hummer, beautiful comp and gorgeous light combine for a big winner here my friend
Luck on the water this season bro and hope we can get some field time inbetween
