I was on my way to the rockslide when I saw the bears feeding just off the road. I took around 500 shots before they slipped into the forest. I'll post more tomorrow.

Those are lovely. I still have not seen any cubs this year. Just poor luck I guess.

May I ask where the rockslide is you mentioned?

I was in Banff today - north of Lake Louise. I'll start going to Highway 40 when the wildflowers are blooming. Makes for a nice shot with the pikas!

Awesome #2 is my favourite. These are indeed young of the year and a rare sight. Lucky you Jim and great job exposing them so nicely in what looks like the early a.m. light.
