One good point about the wet summer we are 'enjoying' this side of the Altantic is that it gives some nice opportunities for flower photography. I took these shots in a gap between showers at the RHS Harlow Carr garden in the north east of England, the flat light and the rain drops add something I think.
Lovely set. I am amazed that image 6 is as sharp as it is given a large aperture (5.6) and relatively short focal length of 100mm. I could certainly see this working if a longer telephoto had been used. Nice work nonetheless. 1 is my pick!
Wonderful shots Paul. There are many super shots there but number 4 is my favorite. Your weather and ours couldn't be more different. Very hot and humid but little rain except the isolated thunderstorm. Hope you guys have forgiven us for whopping you in two skirmishes a few hundred years ago
