Took me five visits to the bird hide and many hours of waiting. But once the kingfisher appeared on the branch by the lake
he was kind enough to hang around for a while. I even had time to take some verticals.
All images are full frame shot at 420mm. Thanks for looking. Comments are always welcome.

Top set, glad to see he turned around for you this time.

No.4 is a real beauty Chris, that looks like a great spot to shoot from - you must have been pretty close even with a 420mm lens.

The exif says 5.6m/18.4ft but it felt closer.
