1) One of four blackbirds attacking a sandhill crane. There were two of the sandhills and they soon tired of four redwings' persistant dive bomb hits to their derrieres.
2)Four redwing blackbirds carried out a divebomber attack on 2 sandhill crains that had meandered into their nesting area. Most of the redwing direct hits were to the larger birds derrieres.

I actually got 2 chances to get this series right. Unfortunately, the first day ...same time and place ... it was cloudy dark and photos didn't look nice and had some blurring.

Second time around I had good evening lighting.
