What birds or wildlife might I find at the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife refuge in July? I've only been there in November. Heading to NM this week.

It will be hot but there will be many species of birds, just not in flocks like the hoards of wintering waterfowl. Google "Bosque del Apache in summer" to get an idea of what you can expect.
I’m not really a bird photographer at all. I prefer herps, (and BDA during the summer is great for those), but the birds that I have been able to casually photograph there this summer so far have included, a male turkey strutting for three females, a calling Gambel’s quail, and a phainopepla eating wolf berries. I’ve also seen tons of great and snowy egrets, great blue and black-crowned night herons, cormorants, a few Canada geese, and many other species. I’m sure someone with the proper equipment and knowledge for bird work could do really well there in July.
