I setup and took this photo on the 28th of June. That was the first day it hit 102 here in my neighborhood. It has been close to that every day since then too.
The photo was taken just below the Carpentersville, IL dam on the Fox River. The river is so low at this point that you can walk across. It is not a good idea to be playing around near dams like this though.
BTW ... fisherman setup the chair there some time ago ... has a couple of rocks weighting it down., I only found the young lady to sit in it.

Haven't seen any salmon but saw a fisherman catch a catfish here at this very spot that had a head as wide as the guys shoulders ... well not quite.
