I was fortunate to be able to get real up close and personal with some Asian elephants a while back and took the opportunity to focus on individual parts that make up the whole. For those who have seen or bought elephant hair bracelets, I suspect this is where they come from. Hope you like the interesting perspective.
I might clone out the chain...but FYI these elephants serve an amazing purpose...they are used to keep tigers out of villages. We saw this on at least one occasion when 3 adolescent tigers had wandered out of the national park and these guys with their mahouts coaxed them back across the boundary. We got a quick glimpse of one to the young tigresses as she came on to the road (photo to follow).

Thanks Tom....and while this looks like grass it is really hair. The eles tail has this tuft of hair at the tip...I guess it works like a fly swatter at least around its butt.
