Taken at McCollough Peaks wild horse reserve Cody, Wyoming on a bum freezing , windy, snowy day at 150 Yds with 400 2.8 plus 2X TC. I would like your opinion on this one. Thanks Bruce
Hey Bruce...I'm wondering if the snow is too sharp...can you soften it up so it less defined? Also, try cropping about 2/3 of the sky...I did it just by raising the image up until it looked the way I think it should. In my eye, that make the horse stand out even more.
I do love the pastel colors...a very nice image.
Now if you don't like the snow you could use the despeckle filter on photoshop

Hi Bruce, the image is a picture waiting to happen. I hope you don't mind, let me know if you do, here are two versions of the image. I am hosting the images until I learn how to upload to FM here, and will let the images be accessible before removing them for a couple of days.
Basically, just some CS6 filters, adjustment layers, and NIK.
