I think this one is pretty cool looking. Maybe somewhat more of an ID than a pure artistry shot but whatever.

(I think this needs a wide gamut warning, I think it's in prophotorgb since srgb and adobergb changed shade of the yellow daisy quite a bit, especially sRGB so you'll need a color-managed browser to see it looking normally and a wide gamut monitor to see the true shade of yellow although that is hardly critical .)
It is possibly a widespread or widely scattered but very rare species. It has only been reported to bugguide.net twice before, once from New York State and once from Wisconsiin. This adds New Jersey to the list. (Although using bugguide as a judge of rarity is fraught with many potential problems.)
Even with extension tubes on I still had to crop the image to bring it to this size. This one really called for the MP-E which I do not have (and maybe would have produced a unidentifiable blur from ).
MPG shows a few other records, but not many. Apparently this is the first for NJ.
Of course, it is so small, for all we know they may be common but just over-looked.
