A friend recently asked me about getting a new ps camera and what might be a good choice, however I've never really looked into ps's and have stuck with dslrs so I didn't really have any advice to offer. I thought someone here might be more knowledgeable in that respect and be able to recommend a particular camera. They're not wanting to spend more then $200 and nothing too bulky. Other then that I don't think they had any requirements. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
From what I read, the S100 has lousy IQ. I looked at it and bought an S300 for a friend instead. She is happy as can be with it. Pure auto all the way.
Thanks for the recommendations everyone, but yeah, the S100 is unfortunately outside of their budget. I'll take your advice and ask this question in the Canon/Nikon forum. Thanks.
