p.1 #1 · video filter question?

I just bought a new canon xa10 video camera and want to put a filter on it, on my 70-200 2.8 is version II I have a B&W MRC UV-Haze filter on it, I want to put one on my video camera, 3 questions should I use a UV filter or just plain glass, slim or regular thickness, for regular lens or wide angle

Sorry if I'm posting it in the wrong place I just didn't see any where else to post it.

UV or plain glass are almost the same.
Very nearly impossible to tell the difference.

You only need slim filters on very wide lenses.
Slim Vs thick filter on a 70mm will make zero difference.
