Very cool stuff. I saw the Northern lights in the Adirondack mountains when I was about 18. The friend I was with thought it was the second coming. You just can't imagine how beautiful the light show can be, even from the ground.

When you think about it, all the space exploration has brought us are beautiful pictures, Tang and memory foam. Not a total waste of money.

I think this one is even nicer (gives a bit more background and nice soundtrack):

The one on youtube has a higher framerate though, which makes the video smoother.
