Where would you send your sigma 50 1.4 (Canon Mount) to?
Sigma Service, Bigston or Camera Repair Japan. (last 2 are authorized repair centers)
Any experience with these guys? Turn around time and work quality?

yeah, but even with focus off at infinity it is still sharper than my recently calibrated Canon 50 1.4. Man that sigma is sharp...

If it's AF accuracy that bugs you, take note that calibration does not always work.

Its actually VERY consistent - just front focuses a hair near infinity but not at subjects a lot closer... Every canon I had was worse - even after calibration & replacement parts...
