just to show ya when you need to crop there are still plenty of pixels to work with,,
was at swim meet this past Tuesday shooting a friends daughter,, grabbed a photo and did 90% crop,, even at 150% the detail is simply amazing,, my D300 served me well for several years but this 800E continues to impress me for all it offers,,
I also shoot 1 meter RC boats and so many times the photo needs cropping and the D300 would run out of pixels,, doubt I will ever have a 500mm + lens and ya cannot use the legs over the water for closer photo,,
