Another to share, i must say these new cameras really make black and white easier than it has ever been, i think the dynamic range improvement must have helped.

Is the Stanford Memorial church a single shot or is this a well-processed HDR? If it's a single shot, I'm even more impressed with the D800e.

Richard, its a two exposure blend. The windows and part of the carpet had pretty intense sunlight hitting directly so the second exposure was to tame that

Loving those church interiors! Here is the story on my contribution. Forecast for cloudy skies and rainy/snowy until Monday, so I called it quits after a night. The forecast was for thundershowers, so I was hoping for a bit of lightning, but no such luck. Just grey flat light. But I tried to make the most of it by shooting some flowing water, which can be a tricky subject in direct sunlight.

opos I should've looked more closely, assumed it was feather detail but now that you mention will reprocess this.

That is feather detail causing the Moire. There may be no moire at all at 100% view... but all the detail is causing a slight moire at this web sized resolution, a quick trip though the LR4 brushes will fix it right up!@

Gorgeous capture by the way!
