The reason the camera is tilted is generally that I'm not looking through it and am shooting as I walk past somebody. Very hard to keep it straight in those circumstances. I never talk to them (exception here is the guy in the top hat who spoke to me) and it's the very opposite of a posed photo.
Great street photos. How are you taking these photos? Do you focus manually for a zone or are you using auto focus? What camera are you using?
I'm new to this type of photography and would like to give it a try.
I use zone focus set at 90 centimetres (3 feet). I used to shoot further (140 cm) but the pics were rubbish. I use a fuji x100, mainly for the awesome high iso capability that means I can do this kind of photo even at night (in a well-lit area).
