p.1 #1 · 5d3 complete reset?

I have been looking at the camera and through the manual and I cannot seem to find if there is a secondary battery that can be removed to completely reset the camera. Any ideas?

located under the HDMI out connector , behind Mark III logo. you will need a small philips screwdriver, unscrew and pull the battery holder, be carful not to lose the screw.
Make sure to tun-off camera and removed primary battery before process.

Thanks Jonathan. I removed it and put it back in but it did not reset. I will let it stay out overnight. I am having kind of a weird phenomenon going on. When I first got it I had no need to calibrate the body to my lens. They were all very acceptable. I am now finding I have to go to the plus side more and more with each lens. Nothing that cannot be over come but I am wondering if one of my lens caused a glitch in the system. The only lens I had to micro adjust was my 85L and that was only +1. Now they are all at least +4. My 5d2 still need no adjustment with any lens. Hopefully this will reset the camera and I can start from scratch again. If not I may be calling canon next week.

Thanks again, found the battery and removed it.

This should not happening but it did to my 1D IV and 1Ds III and 5D.
This is why I never never never put the new purchased camera to work on paying job
before tested and tested again.

Removed internal battery in the intention to reset camera may not work in this case.
I would recommend to go to setting menu and clear all setting,
then being Lens Micro Adjustment. One by One.
