unlike the AF issue that the id-mk3 had which tons of people observed and complained about i am wondering if the Korean source hadnt bothered to publicize this issue would any others have ever noticed it or made an issue of it?I myself can say it would and will never affect my shooting but I am not disputing its existence...had the manual mentioned this in passing I never would have given it a second thought....unless there is something more serious that I am not aware of!

Probably the same Korean source who claims that the left hand outer focus points on the D800 are inaccurate when used with certain WA lenses.
Being a total outsider regarding this issue (my D7k will be my camera for many years to come) I am somewhat confused as to why one would have the screen lit at the same time you would be taking a photo any how, so I am even more perplexed why Canon issued the statement.

You and the vast majority of people with common sense who use a camera to take a real picture. I've done a little astrophotography, and with the current generation of cams it makes a lot more sense to use the back LCD for making adjustments to settings anyway.
But, do we really need a fourth (or is it fifth/sixth) thread on this subject?
