Sent my 70-200 4L to Canon Irvine and they fixed it right. It became blurry on the left side after a couple block run (camera around my neck). The CAnon Service office was empty and I flirted with the counter girl for 5 or 6 minutes and she offered a free repair although several years out of warranty.

My Canon 70-200 F4 IS lens is in need of some adjustment--The image jumps excessively when auto focus is activated by shutter button.
Wondering where to send it--What Canon shop or independant facility has worked well for you?
Thanks,

I've sent a few lenses and a body in to the Irvine facility (closest to me) for things ranging from broken stuff to just being out of adjustment, and I have been happy with the results. The cost is often more than you might wish, but that's the way it is.
I use Toshio for all uncovered work.
Basicly the same price as Canon but it is always repaired correctly the first time.
