Not good news in that thread though. I've been loving my Flex/Mini units (have 5 Flex and 3 Mini) and now that I've gone to the 5DIII I'm frustrated that I'll still have to lug my 5DII's along with me.

Im sure canon would be happy for you to sell them and dive into the new 600TS's
actuallu looking around you do see that a few have done this . ebay turns up a few sets .
I was reading a thread in another forum where someone stated they are having no issues with their Mk3 and PW flex/mini. Someone asked what profile they are using, but the poster has not yet responded. Have you tried setting your PW to different profiles...7D maybe?
I got one of these the other day, so far so good on my 5d3 and 1Ds2's... And I was able to get high speed sync from my Elinchrom Ranger with it, consistently.
Couldn't wait for PW; bought the Pixel King triggers...
They work INCREDIBLY well with the 5DIII! I'm now going to order a few more PK receivers and am selling my entire PW set.
You CAN adjust your flash output power with the Power MC's and Einsteins... But currently no high speed sync with the 580 EX II's - I sent an inquiry to Pocketwizard about this, and this is a response from their support desk;
"A release date for new firmware has not been set. The engineers over at PocketWizard obtain these cameras at the same time the rest of the world does, and immediatly begin extensive testing. The next step is to create new firmware, then test, test, test until all features are working with all flash/Mk III combinations."
I'm having a problem with my system as well. 5D III w/ Mini & AC3 on camera and Flex on two 580 EXIIs. I can only get certain manual power output. When the AC3 is set to +3 I'm getting the equivalent of 1/8 power instead of Full. Set to 0 I get 1/16 and when set to -3 I get the equivalent of 1/32. I get no other power output except for those three stops using the AC3. Got so frustrated I removed the system and reverted back to the Plus IIs and manually set the power as needed. (Glad I didn't sell those). I haven't had an opportunity to try the Mini/Flex/AC3 it in TTL yet.

Looks like this may take awhile... :-( This is our price for being early adopters of a new camera, more so than glitches in the 5D3 itself (which performs amazingly well all in all). No use of PW, no L bracket for tripod use, had to wait a week or so for Lightroom RC 4.1...can't think of anything else significant for me. I don't doubt that within a month all of this will be resolved, and then eventually all but forgotten.
