I think you may have missed my intended sarcasm....my cameras are working fine including my new 5D3. I was just joking since the thread was titled 5D3 Test and the images were great!!

I don't agree with this, I have both and there are a lot of reasons to switch if you shoot wildlife and especially BIF. Also if you shoot the L primes, the new AF shines with these lenses. If you are primarily shooting landscapes or studio then probably would agree there is no huge benefit other than the new ergonomics and just better experience in the menus etc...
However, of course with these type of shots the 5D2, 7D etc... could take them as Gyroscope said but having all 3 of these bodies in my possesion right now, I would say that for just using the camera, the 5D3 blows the 5D2 away and the AF on it blows the 7D away so lots of reasons to consider the new camera if you like new gear...Show more →
I'm lusting after the 5D3 as much as anyone else being a gear head my point was that it was impossible to tell from these web pics how good the camera is - particularly as image quality improvements are flattening out now and post processing can make a massive difference especially to low res web shots. I have shots from my old 350D I used to have that look every bit as good. Clearly the OP did not really intend them to be some sort of scientific test so no disrespect meant When I eventually get the 5D3 it won't be for image quality it will be for frame rate and AF.
