p.1 #1 · Nikon Auto Extension Tubes

Does anyone know where in the U.S. can Nikon Auto Extension Tubes be purchased, at least the PN-11.

Not at all interested in the plastic Kenko brand.

Am aware that the PN-11 was discontinued. And I do wonder why it is still available in Asia (e-Bay)? Have no idea why it is listed as discontinued when I can go on e-Bay and see all of them I could want for....apparently all in Hong Kong .

I can attest that the Nikon Auto Extension Tubes (a set of 3) were of outstanding build quality and high practical value for the purpose of decreasing the MFD of a Nikkor. I had a complete set with my F3 kit back in the 80’s and lost the lot to theft. The only drawback to them was that they “sucked up” light, decreasing the shutter speed.

I am thinking about going back to the adventure that is macro work and I would want a mint or brand new PN-11 to use with my incoming 300 f4 AFS (preferably the set of three).

Thank You

Robert
