This is hilarious. For full disclosure, I'm a Nikon shooter. And I do think the 5d3 is an awesome camera. But I'm also a big believer of finding a camera that fits my needs. but I have a few conversations like this with some of my Canon buddies.
I sold my Canon 5D MK II and Zeiss 35mm f/1.4 ZE, after I used my Nikon d700 with a manual focus nikkor 50mm f/1.2, and noticing that the Nikon had a different look to it, that I could not understand! I asked many friends to choose the photo they liked best, and the always choose the Nikon's!! these were hand held photo's with basic manual mode use! I know I read on potn that the Nikon was heavily on camera processed? however I still just like what I see plus the AF that it is known for makes it great for an all around usage camera! Yes, I am a camera whore, or I was, and yes, I used to pixel peep, and so on as a newbie troll fanboy, but as I advanced with age, I can say that my 36 year old eye's like what they see xD

I'm the same ... I go for look of lenses over sharpness because I realize sometimes the most interesting photos aren't great technically they just have that "look". And it's the same reason I switched to Nikon.
Yeah I found this at work and I was laughing out loud at my desk. I tried to share it with coworkers but they just looked at me funny.
