The Wild Cat is a real treat Eric!! They might be grabs but a grab that works is an exhibition of skill. Grabs are so easy to muck up and muck up you didn't!
But oh my the Leopard is a stunner Super duper buddy!
Tim Thanks my friend...I was very pleasantly surprised how the leopard turned out. Just got it printed 20x30...remarkable...thanks Canon!

leopard with Mckitten is cool.
You are probably right...not much more than a snack but enough protein to keep him going till the next day. He does have an interesting drive menu though.

Eric- I agree completely with what David said and with all the others who agree with what David said (the benefit of being first to comment ).
That leopard shot is a supah dupah poopah scoopah!
Charlie
Hey Charlie, thanks for being so agreeable. Now if only I could find a leopard/llama photo. Now that would be something. I suspect somewhere there is a jaguar/llama photo but not in my arsenal.

It's hard to think of that cute Wild Cat as potential prey. Those eyes are beautiful! That Lepard shot is amazing!
Nancy
Nancy, hard to think about and even harder to watch. I have seen video of leopard mothers and lion mothers eating their dead cubs....it is almost unbearable...I've seen a lot and that is really too much for even me. There is something so strange watching related species eating each other. Even snakes eating snakes is weird but the worst is chimps eating other monkeys...too too close to home.

Wow Eric! would love to see an African wildcat someday, maybe even get a picture or two - what a treat, nice captures!
Leopard is an awesome shot.... you did a fine job!
Kevin
Thanks so much Kevin. I have seen a few wild cats over the years but typically at night in the vehicle's headlights someone in the bush or too far in the distance to get a decent shot...so this one was kinda special despite the branch covering the mouth a bit.
Eric
Eric you found my lost kitty cat! Where was it? Love the last one for sure, iso 6400 with the same amount of noise as iso1600 1D MK IV baby or the 1DX?

Deal big guy! You are much too kind Tom. I was very lucky for about 3 days with this leopard. We found him in all the right spots and poses. Wild cats are very neat...they really are just like your neighborhood cat just with a bit more attitude.

The WC is nice Eric, but the Leopard is super ~ Ron
Thanks so much Ron...have to hand it to our guide who found and followed him despite the fact it was getting really dark...he also was pretty damn good at lining us up properly...not always so with the guides but he knew his stuff.
