Shooting the local (Idaho) HS Lacrosse team again this year (my son plays) and I'm looking for some new ideas for T&I shots. In the past I've done the normal 2-3 row team shot, coaches at the ends and for individual I've done a one knee down, stick across the chest with a serious expression. So I'm thinking about changing it up this year and would appreciate any suggestions or examples. Thanks, Doug
If it were me, I would get the safe "normal" poses, then maybe some semi-action, like catching a ball or something. You know how it is, parents have the same pose year after year, but they see the season, a trophy, whatever as much as the pose.
When I did soccer kids (7-8 years) they liked doing a goofy face team shot, may not work as well for older kids.
This is varsity and jv and I have to work quickly because we do it at the start of a practice, the boys get restless and the coaches don't like to spend too much time at it. I try to set up a spot, have them waiting/staging to one side, bring them in, pose and shoot a quick burst or two then go to the next one. I guess I'm really just looking for a different pose.
