Nice color in these shots. I like the serving picture best. Did you consider trying to capture his entire shadow? For example, the first picture may have been more interesting if Nadal's body was more to the left, so we could see his entire shadow plus the shadow of the ball on the court? Just an idea. It may have been nice to see his shadow in the serving picture too. I also shot at Indian Wells on the first day of qualifying only. My best shots are at:

Looks like you were court-side shooting. I got there Sun morning with signs all over "Sold out". went to the window & got some high altitude seats, usually I get box.
I shot courtside last year & the banners (& court staff) drove me nuts. I didn't have banner problems where I was sitting. I shot some minor courts, I think I'll post some
I'd like to try 10th row or so next year
The shadows were longer than the players, it's a judgement call
thanks for looking in & thanks for the comments; much appreciated
I was courtside for most of my shots. That means in the first or second row of seats. I took some service shots from high up in the bleachers but was not pleased with the results. After seeing your shots, I'm inspired to shoot more from up in the bleachers next time. Having the court as the background looks nice. The shot of Sesil is mucked up by the banner behind her. Banners are becoming more obtrusive every year. They used to be more subtle. If they used big letters, they'd be colored a slightly different shade of green than the rest of the backdrop. The bright white letters behind Sesil are grotesque. They should not be allowed, not because of photographers, because of the distraction they'd be for the players. The walls behind each baseline should be mostly dark green or blue to help the players pick up the ball coming over the net. Any lettering or logos on those walls should be very small and placed near the ground, so as to not get in a player's sight line.
