After getting my old himatic 7s2 clone up & working again (just got my test roll with 36 perfect exposures, yay!) I'm wondering if you could help me tart it up a little. I've got a small hood on the way, but I'm in need of a small neck strap. I can get it in my inside jacket pocket, but it's not too comfortable and makes me look a bit tumoury... Has anyone used one of these on similar cameras?
Also, I see a few hand grips around designed for leicas, some mirrorless cameras, some other smaller cameras. The ones that just act like a small bar in front of the camera for your fingers to rest, bolting onto the tripod mount. Does anyone know if/where I could get one for this camera? I THINK I could make one of sorts but it would be terribly time consuming for myself.
Thanks Ken. I honestly hadn't thought of that route (silly me). Modding a different hand grip to fit would probably be the best route - although I'd get a cheap one myself, the Leica handgrip on a Minolta clone wouldn't make much sense!
I ordered that strap in the end, after no other suggestions, hopefully it'll be nice. I might pen over the red stitching though.
