They're all topnotch, Ron. I especially like the second and third. Great job on feather and tree detail.

Randy
Thanx Randy. I had this high speed burst of the heron trying to break that limb, and was going back and forth trying to decide which one to post. Then I did them quickly, and they seemed to be moving, so I did the gif.

My picks; 2 and 10. What a setting to have nesting herons. You have some great opportunities to record their nesting activity. Nice stuff. Don
Thanx Don. The temptation is to go every week, but the shot selection is limited, and I don't want to post the same thing over and over. Well, maybe a time or two more.

Cool gif! The nesting Heron set is fantastic! Your eagle shots are terrific as well! Looking at them seems as if we are flying side-by-side with them.
Nancy
Thanx Nancy. At one point, one eagle did circle the boat.

Bunches of pictures often enhance the story-telling, and those huge birds balancing on the tips of branches as they build nests is a wonderful story. Especially when the photographs are so good.
Excellent stuff, Ron.
Charlie
Way to go 'Rookie' rookery man! Dancin gif was special
Nice work in the trees buddy and crazy tight on your full framer! Wow that Eagle camae tight and you nailed it, nice shooting Ron. So the shot with the building in the BG, were you 'peeping' and then lost focus lock to the bird

Great minds think alike Karl. When I looked at that shot, I thought something interesting could pop up in one of those windows. And thanx for the kind words.
Fine shots, Ron! And, believe it or not, I'm REALLY liking #5 for its, well uniqueness! And it puts all the other GBH nesting shots in their enviro perspective.
