Apparently I'm supposed to advise viewers that these are rodeo pictures. If you do not like rodeo pictures I respectfully ask that you move along little doggie! Anyway, Golden Spike Arena Ogden Utah rodeo. This place is the legendary cave; dark, and very poor lighting. Shot most of these with my D700, 200mm @ f2 and 6400 ISO

As I was searching the site earlier I'd seen a few other rodeo shots where the photographers were advising the viewers that they were presenting shots of rodeos. Apparently, some folks are a little averse to rodeo photos so as a new forum participant I figured I'd follow their lead. I wouldn't normally advise folks but I figured " when in Rome do as the Romans". I personally feel folks can make their own assessment of the photos. Anyway I hope folks like them. I've not seen any prohibitions against them.
Man, that it is one dark venue. Yikers. That is also one angry horse in the last frame. Nice work, but the horse shots are working better for me than the bull riding -- faces on the riders make the difference for me.
Rodeo is great (always welcome here) very fun to shoot not sure that I would want to participate in any other way though. Number 3 is my favorite my back gets sore just looking at them...
