Great word interpretation for this kind of chop. Not a good time to play in the surf.
Love the photo, Tom. I suspect I'd prefer a bit more at the top of the wave at the expense of the sand at the bottom- but I can't be sure.

actually, Charlie, I was timing my hand-held shots on the receding wave - too soon and it was too light, too late and it was too dark . . . . 'timing is everything' or something like that.

This is very nice. As we progress with our work and go back to look at images done in the past, new sparks bring ideas that were not seen with the initial workings of an image.
