Both are excellent IMO.
Nice handling of tonality on both images.
I like the "rule-breaking" of the extreme centered composition in 1 and also a sense of mystery (?) created by hiding most of the sunset.
In 2 , the contrast of the cloud patterns/forms and the patterns on the beach is pretty cool. Like the leading lines to the buildings and sunrays.
Well seen and good work.
I would recommend posting here a little larger here (800 pixels for widest dimension). Makes it easier to enjoy images, particularly ones with fine detail like these. May help you get a little more feedback.
I'm not sure about #1 with the light pole splitting the image. it grabs too much of my attention. maybe if it was darker . .. . . .
good processing.

Actually not that tough a crowd. Sometimes it gets a bit slow.
Two winners in my book! I love the first. And unlike Tom, I like the bright pole splitting the image. It makes a powerful statement.
Both are processed beautifully.
thanks guys, I usually stick to portrait work, but I also absolutely love doing landscapes. Ill get out more and do some this year, and hopefully find a few nice spots, cheers!
