I like the "rule-breaking" of the extreme centered composition in 1 and also a sense of mystery (?) created by hiding most of the sunset. In 2 , the contrast of the cloud patterns/forms and the patterns on the beach is pretty cool. Like the leading lines to the buildings and sunrays. Well seen and good work. I would recommend posting here a little larger here (800 pixels for widest dimension). Makes it easier to enjoy images, particularly ones with fine detail like these.
