p.1 #1 · My New Photography Investment

I shot the CO HS Basketball Great Eight playoffs last night, 4 games straight and 6 hours on the floor. I woke up this morning and I felt like an old man... Knees, back...

So, here is my latest investment. I'll see if this is a little easier on the bod.

I opened up this thread thinking somebody was going to say that a new body was an investment, I was going to humbly disagree, but in that case...Yes, great investment

You could buy that, and have it worn down after a few games, or you could save your 45 dollars and go out on the court before the game and stretch with the teams, get limber, get yourself ready, maybe even jog a couple laps around the gym for a nice warm up lol

You probably don't weigh a whole lot. According to their website, it says:

"Harmony does not recommend use of the Kid's paddling seat for individuals over 85 lbs."

I opened up this thread and by the time I got to the end, I was expecting to see that he was wagering $2,000 that the seat would last the rest of the season. Sorry Mark, couldn't resist

Hey Mark... I saw your Colorado location and had to respond. I can relate to how the knees and back can get a bit tired while shooting on the sidelines of a sporting event. What I use is a little 3-legged folding stool that was given to me as a complimentary gift when I attended a Colorado Rockies game probably 10 or more years ago (when we lived in Boulder/Nederland). It's small, light-weight, and easy to pick up and carry around. And... (at least so far) it holds up to my "adult" weight. I actually have two, since both my wife and I attended the game, so if one breaks I have a spare....

Mark....no offense but Patrick....you did me in with this one...

I opened up this thread and by the time I got to the end, I was expecting to see that he was wagering $2,000 that the seat would last the rest of the season.

It made my coffee go up my nose...

Regarding the seat....I think my big a$$ would have this destroyed in no time....

The last word in the ad: 'Imported'. Likely translation: Chinese made.

I'll take that wager and raise you $10K. I need some new equipment.

Nothing that couldn't be safely shored up with a bit of duct tape, mind you.

pcuddihy,

Yep, I have also used a camp chair at the games in the past. That really helps with the ole knees. Too much football in my past.

I have had a couple of times over the years where the refs weren't wild about the chair on the baseline so I wanted to play it safe. also, being on the floor does get be a little lower for a better shot.

The locals guys around here are really hot about the Versa-Flex SS-1 Baseline Sport Sear. It's more expensive tho, $133 @ B&H.
