Here are a few of the photos I shot at King of the Hammers. If the military has it's way they will take this whole valley away from the public to use as a battle training area. They can go east but they figure it's easier to just take it from the OHV community, what a shame. These might be some of the last shots of Johnson Valley from me.
Thanks for the comments. What I like about this type of racing is that each "rig" (it's not a car or a truck) is unique. The whole field is going through a learning curve as to what works and what doesn't. If you like the engineering aspect of racing, Ultra4 is for you. Only a few years ago they were all rock crawlers. Now these rigs are being designed and fabricated using the latest technology and beautiful craftsmanship. Check out the rear-steer on this rig.
