I like this compositing you are doing here and in the other thread you started... the final product can be so different from the two images you start with.
I tried some of this a few years ago and posted it in thread on digital manipulation on another forum and was told that the process was interesting but that the results were not "art." I beg to differ and I think the variations you have shown here reinforce my opinion. Maybe someday I will post some of mine again.
