And bored this evening I am. lol

edit: learned a cool BBC code trick that works here and showing the image resized using the tag (img width=xxx height=xxx)image source(/img) (replace the parenthesis with brackets of course). Still, click on the image for the hirez result.

Okay Lyle. Here's my thoughts:

#1: way too over saturated for my taste.
#2: Interesting but the highlights get kind of blown out here.
#3: Now that's cool!

Thanks for playing around with it!

Since we are now onto experimenting with the images.....

This one shot with flash and exposure stacked...fours shots. See Chuck, I do have flashes! I only used one with the reflector.....

Yeah; lot of folks don't like oversat but for whatever's wrong with my mine's eye, I do. Guess that's why I'm wacky. lol

I like the contrast for your latest result by the way; only question I have is why the base over vignetted? Just curious.

The purpose of the vignette is to soften the transition of the base out of the frame. The base is typically the only part of a floral portrait that touches frame. I still use it even when the base of the image remains in the frame like the example I show below, but I use less. Sometimes, or usually, I don;t actually use a vignette, instead, I will typically use the graduated filter brush in Lightroom to apply a burn just to the bottom....

That's cool. Again I was just was curious and it wasn't meant to come across as a negative critique.

Didn't take it that way at all. I'm more than happy to explain myself, no matter how silly it may seem!
