I entered this call for entries at my fave photography hangout in SF - Rayko:

I was notified today by Ann Jastrab (Rayko Gallery Director) that my image of the dragonfly won the first prize and will be the cover for the Summer 2012 Rayko Book.

Also got a second image selected for the December 2012 exhibit at Rayko. The insect dypitch.

Needless to say, I am a tad speechless knowing how competitive Rayko really is, in addition to being one of the best venues for alternative photography in the US.
