This hawk was at my little water feature outside my kitchen window. The puddle is rather ugly recently because of a marauding pack of raccoons that have trashed the vegetation while trying to eat my goldfish. So, I cropped out the most of it and settled on a portrait. I hope you like it.

Thanks Paul, Recently she has been getting a drink around noon. I just have to be careful when I go out the front door, which is only 10 feet from the puddle.

Thanks David, glad you like it. Last year I was working on a nice nesting pair of Cooper's hawks until a great horned owl ate the female. This year the pair of owls are occupying that nest. I'm hoping to get some interesting shots of them

Thanks for the nice comment. I Think this one is afemale that hat has been using my water hole for several years. She is quite tolerant and the shutter clicks don't seem to bother her.
