Excellent shot Jane....I would have been tempted to crop quite a bit from the top but by not doing so you have emphasized the void and vastness of the environment...nice vision

Thanks guys.. I'm no wild life photographer.. So I need something pretty big that doesn't run away to give me the time to experiment with the composition . I was free to move around the herd as they just looked at me enquisitively. I went for these two as they were on slightly higher ground .
Yes.. Some frosty breath would have been the icing on the cake..
I'm sure it won't be the last time I photograph them.
My next subjects are going to be the konik ponies that also run free on the reserve.
