This is my first submission to these weekly assignments! Comments and criticism would be amazing. I look forward to learning more about photography with you guys here at fm! Please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong with the rules.
I really like the idea but the two lights steal unnecessary attention. I assume they are unavoidable but I can only refer to the final pic. Also, the legs seems not as stretched as the arms. Is it intentional? If so, why?
Thanks! The light was actually only one that flared on the lens. I positioned it that way only because there was no other way we could get any light into the stairwell. It's unintentional - unfortunately the guy with the arms is probably about a foot and a half taller than the girl...
Nice concept... I actually like the big light in the lower left.. the upper light though takes away a bit from the arms but the kind of backlit feel goes with the stairwell I think.. nicely done.
An interesting concept. I like the diamond shape of the stairwell as opposed to shooting it square. For me, it's a shame that the lights weren't toned down a little and the upper light on the arm does spoil it. I'm not worried about the length of the arms and legs. In fact, I think the difference in lengths add to the shot.
